Filter peer groups run regular scheduled meetings which are facilitated by an experienced group leader, NOT another member. Group leaders are qualified coaches and/or experienced business leaders in their own right.
"While their makeup, focus, and sponsoring organizations can vary, in our research over the past decade we’ve found that all successful forums serve the same important function: they allow participants to share concerns, show vulnerability, hear different viewpoints, clarify priorities, and make decisions with greater confidence. Members also build camaraderie and form connections that help them feel safe, grounded, and capable in a volatile and uncertain world. The support they receive in forums sustains them through their toughest professional (and personal) challenges and fosters their long-term success.."

There are no competing businesses in a Filter peer group as this restricts your ability to be completely open about all aspects of your business. We want you to find yourself in a safe space where you know you can be honest, open and vulnerable.
Filter peer groups are NOT networking groups. The members are the same month after month, so you get to know and trust each other and become knowledgable about each others business challenges.
Each Filter peer group is as diverse as possible, with members coming from different business sectors as well as having diverse backgrounds. Members will bring a range of knowledge and experience that complements your own.
"In good peer support groups, what’s said in the room stays in the room. Members know that they can trust one another completely."

Our years of experience with peer groups has shown us time and time again their value to members, but we understand that until you have experienced a group many of the concepts may seem nebulous. This is why we have created such an exceptional offering and the question moves from ‘why should I do this?’ To ‘it makes no sense NOT to do this!’
Once members have joined a peer group, their average tenure is 5+ years and the monthly meeting becomes sacrosanct in everyone's diaries. It's the one day of the month you can work ON the business and escape from being IN the business.
You have a safe space to go where you can be totally open and unburden yourself amongst colleagues you respect, admire and most of all trust to be on your side.
Being part of FILTER is not being part of a club, it's being on a journey with highly successful like-minded friends.
A real life (anonymous) CEO shares their experience of being part of a peer group...
Being part of a CEO peer-to-peer leadership coaching group has been a transformative experience. It’s not just about honing my leadership, it’s about sharpening my entire approach to business and growth.
The calibre of the subject experts we hear from is exceptional. Each session, I find myself challenged to think differently, sometimes radically so, about strategy, delivery and the dynamics of leadership. Their insights aren’t just theoretical; they’re immediately actionable, helping me to strengthen my own business decisions. It's something that's allowing me to make immediate as well as long term improvements for myself, my business and my team.
Our group chair and coach is another lynchpin. Outside our group sessions, they work with me 1-2-1, offering a great blend of care and challenge. They don’t just focus on the surface-level stuff but delve into deeper goals and blind spots. We have come to know each other well and our sessions are based on that knowledges. It’s strategic counsel with heart.
What really makes the group special, though, is the members themselves. We’re from non-competitive sectors, which allows proper openness. We meet regularly and we hold each other to account. No egos, no politics; just honest, constructive camaraderie. Over time, this has built a network of trusted allies who challenge as much as they champion. Unexpectedly, this honesty has forged a bond that goes beyond business. It’s a rare and deeply valuable hidden benefit.
For me, this isn’t just professional development. It’s the kind of self-work that makes a real, lasting difference.
